Product description

The breaking hammer drill rod, also known as the cannon drill rod or pickaxe drill rod, is made of high-quality special steel and processed using German heat treatment technology. It is formed by a segmented quenching and tempering heat treatment method, making the steel drill rod wear-resistant and not easy to break. The service life of AOLIDE steel drills is increased by more than 30% compared to ordinary steel drills on the market.

Oride steel drills are used according to their purposes: pointed, flat, slotted, forged, large, straight, etc.
According to size: 53, 68, 75, 98, 100, 135, 140, 155, 165, 175, 185, 190, 195, 210, etc. (in millimeters)

Shape and purpose of drill rod

Correct operation method of drill rod

1: Correct selection of drill rod
If the model is chosen improperly, it can lead to weak impact and even damage to the piston and drill rod.

2:It is strictly prohibited to use drill rods as levers to lift heavy objects

3: Add butter every 2 to 3 hours of work to reduce wear on the drill rod and inner and outer bushings. If the wear of the inner and outer lining exceeds 10mm, it should be replaced in a timely manner.

4: Vertical Strike
When breaking, please confirm that the direction of the drill rod’s contact point is perpendicular to the surface of the object being broken (maintaining a 90 ° angle), and try to keep it as close as possible at all times; If the surface of the broken object is inclined, the drill rod may slide away from the surface, causing damage to the drill rod and affecting the piston. When breaking, please first select the appropriate striking point and confirm that the drill rod is indeed stable before striking.

5: Strictly prohibit empty shooting
When the rock or target object has been shattered, please immediately stop the striking action of the breaking hammer. Continuous empty striking will only cause loosening and damage to the front cylinder body and main body screws, as well as wear and tear on the tail of the drill rod, and even damage to the construction machinery.

6: Do not use a breaking hammer to push or pry heavy objects
Do not use the protective plate as a tool to push heavy objects during work, as this can cause the screws and drill rods of the protective plate to break and damage the breaking hammer, and even cause the boom to break.

7: Do not shake the drill rod during use
During the crushing operation, if the drill rod is attempted to be shaken for use, there is a possibility of both the main screws and the drill rod breaking.

8: Do not strike continuously for more than 30 seconds
When hitting continuously at the same point for more than 30 seconds without breaking the target, please change the selected point of the attack and try again. Attempting to continuously strike at the same point can cause excessive wear and tempering of the drill rod, resulting in a decrease in hardness.

9: It is better to choose the edges and corners of the impact point
When the target object is a larger or harder stone, please choose to crush it from the edges and corners. No matter how big or hard the stone is, choosing to strike from the edge is usually easier to break.
